The Stigler Center Journalists in Residence Program is an initiative by the Stigler Center at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Designed for journalists globally, it focuses on fostering leaders in business reporting and enhancing knowledge about political economy. The program runs for 12 weeks (March 17–May 31, 2025) and is hosted at the Hyde Park campus in Chicago.
Participants audit classes, engage with renowned faculty, attend exclusive seminars, collaborate with peers, and network with leading scholars. Additionally, they get opportunities to contribute to the ProMarket publication and partake in workshops that enrich their expertise in political economy and business journalism.
The application deadline for the 2026 cohort is October 13, 2025. Early submission is advised to ensure eligibility and preparation for visa processes.
